“Set Your Goals, Turn Difficulties into Opportunities”: Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal
Inspirational interaction with children in Nawa Raipur; Minister answers children’s interesting questions
Raipur, Nov 2025 : At his government residence in Nawa Raipur today, Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal had an affectionate and meaningful interaction with students of Ryan International School, Raipur. The meeting was not just a courtesy call—it turned into an inspiring conversation on life values, goal-setting, perseverance, the importance of education, and tourism in Chhattisgarh. The children listened attentively to the Minister and said they found his words deeply valuable for their school life and future.
Minister Agrawal encouraged the children to move forward in life, saying that clarity of goals and discipline are essential for success. He said, “Every student should plant within themselves the seeds of cleanliness, values, and discipline. The clearer your goal, the faster you will move in the right direction. Difficulties are a part of everyone’s life, but identifying the opportunities hidden within them is true success. Education is not only for marks—it is for building good character and a strong personality.”
Children’s Questions, Minister’s Answers
During the interaction, a student asked the Minister where he found the inspiration to enter politics. Shri Agrawal replied, “My biggest inspiration to enter politics came from my father. Since childhood, I saw him helping people and working for society. That is where the desire grew in me to lead a life that can benefit as many people as possible. For me, politics is not a means of power, but a medium of service.”
Another student asked about the tourism prospects in Chhattisgarh. The Minister responded, “Chhattisgarh has immense tourism potential. Our state is blessed with natural beauty, waterfalls, caves, archaeological heritage, tribal culture, and a unique legacy of folk art. Our effort is to give Chhattisgarh a leading place on the tourism map of India and the world. We will do excellent work in this field so that the new generation, like you, can feel proud of their state.”
Emphasis on Education, Goals, and Self-Confidence
Shri Agrawal explained to the children, “The importance of studies is not limited to examinations—it shapes the direction of your life. Study every subject with attention, not just to memorize but to understand. Never hesitate to ask questions; this habit will set you apart in the future. Instead of panicking during tough times, look for solutions—this is how you will convert every challenge into an opportunity.”
While extending his best wishes, the Minister said, “All of you are the future of our state and country. Let honesty, hard work, and discipline be your guiding principles. If you follow this, no goal will remain out of reach.”
The schoolchildren took autographs and photographs with the Minister. Sharing their experience, they said, “We really enjoyed talking to the Minister and learned a lot from him. Now we will set our goals and work hard with full sincerity to achieve them. Studies are not just for scoring marks but also for becoming a good human being. For the first time, we got a chance to sit so close and talk to a minister.”
This interaction between the students of Ryan International School and the Tourism Minister was filled with positivity, motivation, and confidence. For the children, the meeting was not just a formal visit but a meaningful lesson in life values and future direction.
