Three Vehicles Donated to Pune District Hospital to Strengthen Women and Child Health Services
Mumbai, Nov 2025 – To strengthen women and child health, safety, and awareness services, three vehicles were donated to the Pune District Hospital through a joint initiative of Gestamp Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. and Hope for the Children Foundation, Pune. The vehicles were handed over at Arogya Bhavan by Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Prakash Abitkar.
Public Health Minister Prakash Abitkar said that such cooperation from the industrial sector is extremely valuable for enhancing the speed and effectiveness of health services for women and children. These vehicles will certainly improve emergency services, awareness campaigns, and the overall efficiency of health programmes.
The event was attended by Dr. Karolin DeWalter, Founder of Hope for the Children Foundation, and Chief Operating Officer Shakeel Shaikh. Significant contributions toward the success of this initiative were made by And Param Anand, Waseem Shaikh, and Sachin Karanjule.
This public–private partnership initiative marks a positive step toward making health services in the state more effective, efficient, and people-centric.
