Launch of attractive tour packages for tourists with 75% subsidy

Raipur, Dec 2025 : The Chhattisgarh Tourism Department, in collaboration with IRCTC, is set to launch special tour packages under the Chief Minister’s Public Tourism Promotion Scheme in Raipur and Bastar. This initiative marks a significant step in promoting the state’s cultural, religious, and natural heritage while boosting tourism.

Under the scheme, four major tour packages will operate from Raipur, including: Raipur City Tour, Raipur City Religious Tour, Raipur–Jagdalpur Circuit Tour, and Raipur–Sirpur–Barnawapara Circuit Tour. Each package will offer air-conditioned vehicles, Hindi-English guides, meals, and travel insurance, ensuring tourists enjoy a comfortable and safe journey.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai stated that the scheme was launched to make tourism accessible to every citizen. He emphasized that it will not only boost economic growth but also strengthen Chhattisgarh’s identity nationally and internationally.

Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal added that the scheme will promote local tourism and create widespread employment opportunities. “We want every tourist to experience Chhattisgarh’s natural beauty and cultural richness,” he said.

Major Tour Packages

Raipur City Tour (Day Tour)
Tourists can visit major sites in Raipur, including Ram Mandir, Urja Park, Purkhouti Muktangan, Chhattisgarh Tribal Museum, Nandanvan Zoo, and Kaushalya Mata Mandir. The package includes air-conditioned transport, Hindi/English guides, meals, and travel insurance. The tour starts from Raipur Railway Station.

Raipur City Religious Tour (Day Tour)
Focusing on religious sites, this tour covers Hanuman Mandir, Maa Banjari Mandir, Kaivalya Dham Jain Temple, ISKCON Temple, Mahamaya Mandir, Danteshwari Mata Mandir, Ram Mandir, and Maa Kaushalya Mata Mandir. Departure and return are from Raipur Railway Station.

Raipur–Jagdalpur Circuit Tour (02 Nights / 03 Days)
This package explores Bastar’s natural and cultural attractions, including Jagdalpur, Chitrakoot, and Teerathgarh. Tourists can visit Chitrakoot Waterfall, Kutumsar Caves, Kanger Valley National Park, and Danteshwari Mandir. Accommodation is in double-sharing hotels with daily meals provided.

Raipur–Sirpur–Barnawapara Circuit Tour (01 Night / 02 Days)
Tourists will visit historic temples in Sirpur and the Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary, enjoying hotel accommodation, meals, air-conditioned transport, and an exciting jungle safari experience.

Tour Package Features
Each package requires a minimum of 10 participants. Tourists will receive drinking water, snacks, lunch, and travel insurance during the journey. Children aged 2–18 will receive an 85% subsidy, while adults over 18 will receive a 75% subsidy. All tours begin and end at Raipur Railway Station.

These tour packages aim to energize the tourism sector while preserving Chhattisgarh’s cultural, religious, and natural heritage. Tourists will directly experience the state’s diversity and richness, benefiting local businesses and creating employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister’s Public Tourism Promotion Scheme is part of CM Vishnudev Sai’s visionary initiative to promote tourism, accelerate the state’s economic growth, and give Chhattisgarh tourism a new identity.
