Double Engine Government Advantage: Rajasthan Gains Double from Central Schemes; State Among Leading in Scheme Implementation
Jaipur, December 2025 : Under the guidance of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the benefits of central government schemes are reaching the state residents with double efficiency. Under the skilled leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhajan Lal Sharma, effective implementation of central schemes is being ensured in the state. The strong administrative coordination, cooperation, and understanding between the center and the state is the main reason behind this better implementation at the ground level. As a result, the state has progressed rapidly in renewable energy, PM-KUSUM, PM-Suryaghar free electricity scheme, Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and has become one of the leading states in the country.
Common People Becoming Energy Providers—
Rajasthan is steadily advancing towards energy self-reliance. Under the PM-Suryaghar free electricity scheme, over 1.09 lakh rooftop solar plants with a total capacity of 441 MW have been installed. The PM-KUSUM scheme has gained momentum in the last two years under strong will from the state government. In December 2023, when CM Mr. Bhajan Lal Sharma took office, only 122 MW of decentralized solar plants under Component-A and C had been installed. In the past two years, projects with 2460 MW capacity have been implemented, meaning 2338 MW was created in just two years. Because of this scheme, common farmers have become energy providers, marking a new era of rural entrepreneurship. These plants supply daytime electricity to 1.54 lakh farmers.
Beginning of New Water Revolution in Marudhara—
In water management, the RamJal Setu Link Project is a historic step. Orders worth ₹26,000 crore have been issued, making the state self-reliant in irrigation and drinking water in the future. The Jal Jeevan Mission has provided safe drinking water to millions of families; in the past two years, over 13 lakh homes were connected with pipelines, spending ₹10,482 crore.
Millions Benefited by Free Healthcare—
Under Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, over 30.68 lakh patients have benefited with more than ₹6,000 crore in just two years. The state ensures the scheme reaches poor and vulnerable groups, providing economic support for treatment.
7 Lakh People Realize Dream of Permanent Homes—
The PM-Awas scheme has helped hundreds of thousands realize their dream of permanent housing. In just two years, 2.06 lakh homes were built, and 7.61 lakh homes were approved.
New Benchmark in Women Empowerment—
Central government women welfare schemes have brought positive change in the state’s social structure. Under PM-Matru Vandana, 9.92 lakh women received ₹531 crore. Under the Lakhpati Didi scheme, 19.45 lakh women received training, and 12.06 lakh women became financially empowered “Lakhpati Didi.” The double-engine government implemented these schemes effectively, playing a key role in women’s self-reliance.
Flow of Development in Tribal Areas—
Tribal development and cultural preservation are actively pursued. The “Dharti Aba Tribal Gram Utkarsh” campaign covers 6,019 villages, implementing education, health, nutrition, and livelihood schemes. For being ranked first nationwide, the state was honored by President Mrs. Droupadi Murmu.
Welfare Along with Employment—
Special attention has been given to social security and employment for workers. In two years, 17.41 lakh workers were registered on e-Shram portal. Under PM-Shram Yogi Mandhan, 24,191 workers were registered. To promote self-employment, PM-SVANidhi provided loans to over 87,000 street vendors and small traders. PM-Vishwakarma scheme trained 2.13 lakh artisans and gave loans to 49,306 beneficiaries.
Double Honor for Farmers, Food Security Strengthened—
Under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, 76.18 lakh farmers in the state received over ₹8,359 crore in just two years. Under NFSA, 70.17 lakh eligible people were included after voluntary “give-up” by 47.47 lakh individuals, ensuring benefits reached real beneficiaries.
Rajasthan Leading in Investment—
To boost investment, CM Sharma organized the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit, bringing large investments on ground. MOUs worth ₹2.61 lakh crore were signed with central undertakings, paving the way for industrial growth and employment.
