Cleanliness Drive Organized at State Secretariat
Jaipur, Dec 2025: A cleanliness campaign was organized at the State Secretariat on Tuesday to mark the completion of two years of the state government’s tenure. The drive was inaugurated near the Employees’ Union Canteen within the Secretariat premises, where Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, along with senior officials and staff, participated by sweeping and cleaning the area.
Under the campaign, officials and employees carried out cleaning across various offices within the Secretariat as well as in all government offices under its jurisdiction.
Chief Secretary V. Srinivas emphasized the need to cultivate a culture of cleanliness in government office complexes. He said regular cleanliness drives should be conducted, noting that a clean environment not only enhances efficiency but also fosters a positive work culture.
He further highlighted the importance of proper management of files and records. Government offices should periodically review and timely weed out outdated records. Old furniture, unused vehicles, and scrap materials should also be disposed of promptly. The Chief Secretary added that old and non-functional laptops, desktops, photocopy machines, and other digital equipment must be handled as per established guidelines for digital scrap disposal.
The program was attended by Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department, Abhay Kumar; Secretary, Personnel Department, Archana Singh; Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Dr. Neeraj K Pawan; Secretary, Information Technology and Communication Department, Dr. Ravi Kumar Surpur; along with other officials and staff.
