North Bastar Kanker: Tricolor procession taken out in the city under every home tricolor campaign

Under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program is being organized from 09 to 15 August 2024 with the aim of developing a sense of patriotism among the common people and increasing respect for the national flag. In this sequence, today, under the leadership of Collector Shri Nilesh Kumar Mahadev Kshirsagar, a Tiranga Yatra was taken out from the Narhardev Government Higher Secondary School campus to the old bus stand of the district, in which officers-employees, NCC and Scout Guides, Police personnel participated. The participants involved in the Tiranga Yatra called upon all the citizens of the district to hoist the national flag in their respective houses with patriotic slogans. After the completion of the Yatra in the ground of Narhardev School, the Collector also administered the oath of respect to the tricolor to all the people present. During this, Additional Superintendent of Police Mrs. Manisha Thakur, SDM Kanker Mr. Ashok Marble, DSP Mr. GS Sao along with district level officers and students were present.
