82 Companies Win MPUVNL’s 4.3 GW Solar Auction Under KUSUM.

December 2025: Dilip Buildcon, Sunbridge Solar Power, Purshotam Profiles, Landsmill Industries, Ceigall India, and 77 other companies have won 4.01 GW, out of Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam (MPUVNL)’s 4.3 GW solar auction to develop projects under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan program.

In February 2025, the Madhya Pradesh government’s New and Renewable Energy Department had issued the Madhya Pradesh Renewable Energy Policy (MPREP) 2025, aiming to achieve 50% of annual power consumption from renewable energy sources by 2030. Initially, in February 2025, the tender was  floated for 1.5 GW of solar projects. The capacity was later increased to 4.3 GW.

The power generated from these projects will be sold to MP Power Management Company. The projects entail the design, engineering,  construction, and commissioning of the project, including the construction of the bay and related switchgear at the substation.

  • Dilip Buildcon won a cumulative capacity of 1,363.54 MW, quoting tariffs ranging from Rs. 2.74 ($0.0305)/kWh to Rs. 2.79 ($0.0311)/kWh.
  • Sunbridge Solar Power won a total capacity of 471.29 MW at tariffs ranging from Rs. 2.75 ($0.0307)/ kWh to Rs. 2.85 ($0.0318)/kWh.
  • Landsmill Industries won 422.02 MW, at tariffs ranging from Rs. 2.7 ($0.0301)/kWh to Rs. 2.75 ($0.0307)/kWh.
  • Purshotam Profiles secured 173.15 MW at tariffs ranging between 2.69 ($0.03)/kWh and Rs. 2.84 ($0.0317)/kWh.

The projects must be completed within 12 months. Winners must ensure land acquisition for the projects and the development of the associated infrastructure to connect to the substations. Moreover, the projects must maintain an annual capacity utilisation factor of 15% annually.
