CM Reviews Preparations for Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM) 2026

Jaipur, January 2026 : Ahead of the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM)–2026, special camps will be organized at the Girdawar Circle level across the state starting from January 23 (Basant Panchami). Chief Minister Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma issued these directions while chairing a review meeting on Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet–2026 at the Chief Minister’s Office on Friday. He said these camps will play an important role in ensuring maximum participation of farmers and livestock rearers and in delivering the benefits of government schemes at the grassroots level.

Mr. Sharma said Basant Panchami holds special significance for farmers as it marks the beginning of the rabi crop harvesting season, symbolizing hopes of good yield and prosperity. He directed that special Gram Sabhas be organized in Gram Panchayats on January 22 to inform villagers about the upcoming camps.

Camps to be held at Girdawar Circle level:
The camps will be organized at the Girdawar Circle level on January 23, 24, 25 and 31, and on February 1, 5, 6, 7 and 9. During these camps, proposals for essential development works in villages will be invited under the Developed India–Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural) Guarantee Act–2025 (VB-GRAM-G). Farmers and livestock rearers will also receive benefits under various schemes, including Soil Health Cards, Kisan Credit Cards, distribution of policies under the Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana, approvals for polyhouses, animal vaccination, and schemes related to agriculture and horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and dairy sectors.

The Chief Minister said the state government is committed to making farmers progressive and prosperous in every field through the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet–2026. He directed all concerned departments, including agriculture, horticulture, dairy, animal husbandry, fisheries, cooperation, and irrigation, to work in coordination to ensure the successful organization of the camps and to extend the benefits of government schemes to farmers, livestock rearers, and rural residents.

National and international participation in GRAM–2026:
Mr. Sharma said that farmers and livestock rearers from across the country and abroad will participate in the state-level Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet. Exhibitor firms from India and overseas will also attend to showcase advanced technologies in agriculture and animal husbandry. Progressive farmers will be honored at GRAM–2026, and experts, scientists, and technical professionals who have adopted innovations in advanced agriculture, water management, and crop diversification will be invited. The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure wide publicity of the event so that farmers at the grassroots level are well informed about the program and its schemes.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Mr. V. Srinivas, Additional Chief Secretary (Water Resources) Mr. Abhay Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary (Chief Minister’s Office) Mr. Akhil Arora, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) Mr. Shikhar Agrawal, Additional Chief Secretary (Rural Development) Ms. Shreya Guha, along with other concerned officials.
