Everyone Takes Pride in Sindhi Community for Preserving Its Identity and Heritage Despite Adversities and Struggles: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Sindhi community’s resilience, hard work and ability to win hearts are commendable. The community has endured hardships and struggles over the past 80 years. The community endured the trauma of Partition and left behind its homeland, homes and businesses, but its courage, faith and values never wavered. Everyone takes pride in the Sindhi community for turning challenges into opportunities and preserving its identity and heritage.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Sindhi community possesses the ability to rise again like the phoenix. It has created new opportunities for itself by drawing on this inherent resilience. He said that the state government has fulfilled its commitment by including the biographies of great figures of the Sindhi community, including Raja Dahir, Sant Kanwar Ram and Martyr Hemu Kalani, in the school curriculum.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the State-Level Sindhi Sammelan organised at Sindhu Bhavan in Bhopal. He inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Indore MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, Madhya Pradesh Sindhu Bhavan Trust President Shri Rajendra Manwani, Provincial Sindhi Conference Programme Convenor Shri Ishwar Jhamnani and a large number of Community members were present.

State Government Committed to Protecting Rights and Promoting Sindhi Language and Culture

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Sindhi community possesses not only business acumen and a strong entrepreneurial mindset but also the ability to innovate in several fields, including social service and education. Members of the community are playing a leading role in various sectors. He said that the state government remains committed to protecting the rights of the Sindhi community and promoting the Sindhi language and culture. The Chief Minister said that the government believes in resolving issues through dialogue. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, referring to Bhopal’s Master Plan, that the state government is committed to safeguarding the interests of traders and will take the best possible decision to resolve the matter.

Seva Se Sankalp Abhiyan to Begin on September 17 on Prime Minister Shri Modi’s Birthday

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Seva Se Sankalp Abhiyan will be launched across the state on September 17, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday, marking the completion of 25 years of his service as an able administrator. The Chief Minister said that the process of providing free registration of properties for 50 lakh people is being undertaken across the state. The stamp duty for the process will be borne by the state government, involving an expenditure of approximately ₹5,000 crore. Under the Swamitva Adhikar Abhilekh Nispadan Abhiyan, property registrations of rural residents will be undertaken in the first phase, following which documents will be provided to them through the Revenue Department. In the next phase, registration of plots in urban areas will be undertaken.

Any Violation of Law Will Not Be Tolerated at Any Cost

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is fully committed to maintaining law and order in Madhya Pradesh. Officers and employees performing well are being encouraged, while strict action is being taken against negligence and crime. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, Balaghat has now become completely Naxal-free.

The action taken against the accused in the Sagar incident sends a clear message to criminals that violation of the law will not be tolerated at any cost. He said that the second accused in the Sagar liquor case was also subjected to a short encounter today. He added, “Strict action will be taken against every criminal in the same manner.” Indore MP Shri Shankar Lalwani and Provincial Sindhi Conference Programme Convenor Shri Ishwar Jhavnani also addressed the programme.
