Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a strong centre for information technology, semiconductors, telecom and electronics manufacturing in the country. Along with Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, he held one-to-one meetings with industry leaders and key business representatives in Bengaluru, inviting them to explore opportunities in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s strong infrastructure, abundant natural resources and industry-friendly policies, along with a secure business environment, single-window clearances and policy support. He said facilities would be tailored to industry needs, with senior officials ensuring prompt resolution of issues. He said that the convergence of Bengaluru’s technology ecosystem with Madhya Pradesh’s industrial base would open new avenues for innovation and employment. The Chief Minister said that facilities in Madhya Pradesh would be developed in line with industry requirements. He added that he personally engages with industry representatives during roadshows, accompanied by senior officials, to facilitate the prompt resolution of issues and requirements. Transparent policies and responsive mechanisms are in place to provide a conducive environment for industry.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the potential of the Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone. He said the state government is giving high priority not only to telecom equipment manufacturing but also to research and innovation in the sector. The state’s future-ready policies offer financial and non-financial incentives for expanding electronics manufacturing clusters.
Tholons and CGI Explore GCC Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh
IT and GCC leaders expressed keen interest in establishing operations in Madhya Pradesh. Tholons Chairman and CEO Shri Avinash Vashisth and Smt. Ankita Vashisth discussed a proposal to establish a GCC unit in the state with an investment of ₹210 crore. CGI Vice President Shri Atul Agashe expressed interest in expanding CGI’s GCC presence in Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh to Emerge as a Major Centre for Semiconductors and Chip Design
Representatives of leading semiconductor and chip-design companies held detailed discussions with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Shri Shivkumar P.R., Founder and CEO of Aseem Maven Silicon, proposed establishing a chip design house in the state with a total investment of ₹100 crore, including ₹25 crore in the first phase. Shri Pankaj Garg, Founder and CEO of Core-IC Technologies Private Limited, also agreed to establish chip design services with a total investment of ₹100 crore in phases.
New Proposals in DeepTech Funding, Data Centres, SpaceTech and Sustainability
Shri Narendra Bhandari of deep-tech venture capital fund CEFUND presented a proposal to provide around ₹200 crore in funding for startups in Madhya Pradesh to accelerate emerging technologies. Shri Gopal Krishnan, Chairman and CEO of Ninestars Information Technologies Private Limited, discussed establishing a modern data centre in the state. In the SpaceTech sector, Galaxy co-founders Shri Rakshit Bhatt and Smt. Payal Dave discussed opportunities for collaboration. Shri Pavan Guntupalli, Co-founder of mobility and bike-sharing company Rapido, and Shri Virendra Chaudhary, CEO and MD of Donau Carbon India, also discussed their plans for Madhya Pradesh.
Drone Manufacturing and Defence Technology to Receive New Impetus
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also met representatives of leading drone technology companies to explore opportunities in emerging technologies. Shri Naman Pushp, Founder of Airbound; Smt. Kuthi Armanmada, Head of Marketing at ideaForge; Shri Rohan Fernandes, Head of Business Development at Nautical Wings; Shri Ashwin Shastri, Head of Business at NewSpace and Research Technologies; and Shri Yashwant Reddy, Founder and CEO of Unmanned Systems, discussed opportunities for developing a drone manufacturing and testing ecosystem in Madhya Pradesh. Airbound representatives presented a drone to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.

During the meetings, Shri Jayant and Smt. Tara represented HP Enterprises in the GCC sector, while Shri Srinidhi represented Zscaler. Shri Anurag represented a company working in quantum computing and AI. Shri Vishal Agastya, Country Leader, India and Consulting Lead, Global Delivery Unit, represented Fujitsu Consulting India Pvt. Ltd., while Shri Nitin Mehta, Chief Executive Officer and Country Head, represented Infinity India Private Limited.
Balanced Industrial Development and Employment Generation Across All Regions
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the state government is promoting industrial activity across different regions rather than limiting it to select cities. Along with Indore, Ujjain and Bhopal, equal attention is being given to divisions such as Jabalpur and Gwalior. He said that special emphasis is also being placed on establishing MSMEs and small and cottage industries alongside large industries in cities and towns across the state, creating opportunities for dignified local employment. The participating companies appreciated Madhya Pradesh’s industry-friendly policies, transparent systems and proactive approach.
