Chief Minister Extends Warm Welcome to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

Raipur, May 2026 : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday warmly welcomed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived in Bastar to participate in the 26th meeting of the Central Zonal Council.

Chief Minister Sai greeted Yogi Adityanath on the sacred land of Chhattisgarh and honoured him in accordance with the state’s traditional culture by presenting him with a ceremonial state shawl (gamcha).

It is noteworthy that the 26th meeting of the Central Zonal Council is being held in Bastar under the chairmanship of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. The important meeting is expected to witness extensive discussions on coordination among states, development-related matters, and administrative issues.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held detailed discussions on various contemporary issues, inter-state coordination, and matters related to regional development.

The leaders also deliberated on good governance, effective implementation of development schemes, and issues concerning public welfare during the meeting.
