Jashpur Students to Study in Smart Classrooms: Chief Minister Shri Sai Inaugurates Smart Classroom in Kansabel
206 Interactive Panels to Be Installed in Government Schools
Raipur, January 2026: Schoolchildren in Jashpur district will now benefit from smart classrooms. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated a smart classroom at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Kansabel. For this initiative, SECL has approved a CSR funding of ₹5 crore, under which 206 interactive panels will be installed in government schools across the district.
Addressing the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasized that using modern technology to make education engaging and effective is essential, ensuring that children in rural and remote areas have access to educational resources equivalent to urban schools. He appreciated the initiative, noting that it will foster innovation, curiosity, and technical skills among students, laying a strong foundation for their bright future. The event was attended by MLA Smt. Gomti Sai and several other public representatives.
Officials stated that under the MoU, interactive panels will be installed in selected government schools in Jashpur district in a phased manner. These devices will enable teachers to utilize digital content, videos, presentations, and e-learning resources, making classroom instruction more engaging, simple, and effective. This initiative will provide hundreds of students in the district with high-quality digital education facilities.
It is noteworthy that under the Chief Minister’s vision to provide modern and quality education facilities in Jashpur’s government schools, a tripartite MoU was signed last month between the district administration, SECL, and EduSciL to implement this project.
