Jaipur, January 2026 :On the occasion of National Voters’ Day, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma honoured newly registered voters at the camp office in Sanganer on Sunday. Addressing the gathering, he said that youth are not only the builders of the nation but also its future leaders. Along with exercising their voting rights, young citizens must also be conscious of their duties towards the nation. He emphasized that every vote plays a vital role in the development of the country and the state, and new voters should reflect on the kind of future they envision for India and their state.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, through the Mann Ki Baat programme, has called upon citizens to celebrate becoming a new voter as a festival, as it reinforces the greatness and strength of democracy. He added that it is important for every individual to feel responsible for the direction they give to their lives and to the nation.

Shri Sharma urged the youth to place the nation above all else by imbibing the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of the country’s forefathers to actively participate in nation-building. He highlighted that over the past two years, the state government has undertaken several significant initiatives in the interest of youth. Those responsible for paper leaks under the previous government, which harmed the aspirations of young people, have been arrested and punished.

He further stated that the state government has so far provided more than one lakh government jobs, while recruitment is underway for 1.43 lakh posts. Recently, an examination calendar has also been released for recruitment to one lakh new posts in the current year. He encouraged the youth to prepare with dedication and hard work to achieve success.

On this occasion, local public representatives, newly registered voters, and a large number of citizens were present.
