CM takes to the streets at night to review Kashi’s ongoing development works
Varanasi : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath toured the streets of Varanasi at night to assess the city’s development projects.
He inspected the construction of houses for policemen at the Central Jail in Shivpur, the barracks being built for prisoners, and the ROB under construction in Kajjakpura.
During the visit, he instructed the officers on-site to expedite the construction work and complete it swiftly, treating it as a priority project.
The Chief Minister was informed that the construction of 48 houses across eight blocks at the Central Jail is complete, with finishing work such as plumbing, painting, and coating underway.
Additionally, out of 15 barracks planned for prisoners, each with a capacity of 450, the construction of barracks with a capacity of 270 has been completed and handed over. Work on the remaining barracks is progressing and will be completed and handed over to the jail administration soon.
During the inspection, Uttar Pradesh Government’s Labor and Employment Minister Anil Rajbhar, State Minister (Independent Charge) for Stamp and Court Registration Fee Ravindra Jaiswal, State Minister (Independent Charge) for AYUSH and Food Security Dr. Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, former Minister and MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, MLA Saurabh Srivastava, and MLA Dr. Awadhesh Singh were also present.
