Lucknow, February 2026 : When government schemes are combined with sensitive administrative willpower, they become lifesaving for the needy and bring prosperity to struggling lives. With the same vision, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inspired the Rampur district administration to start a unique initiative through ‘Janta Darshan’, which has now become an example for the entire state.

Rampur has become a district where ‘Janta Darshan’ is not only a platform for hearing complaints but has also transformed into a lifesaving relief centre. Serious illness sufferers visiting for Ayushman card assistance are receiving treatment, while their eligibility for Antyodaya cards is being identified so that they can avail all Yogi government schemes.

This unique initiative by DM Rampur Ajay Kumar Dwivedi has filled the lives of people standing on the last rung of society with hope, proving that change is possible when the administration is determined.

According to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, ‘Janta Darshan’ is conducted every morning from 10 am to 12 noon in the collectorate premises of Rampur. It is no longer just a grievance redressal forum but has become a lifesaving relief centre for the afflicted. People crushed under poverty and struggling with serious diseases come here with hope of government support and they receive not just assurance but immediate solutions.

DM Ajay Kumar Dwivedi has implemented an innovative arrangement under which senior doctors from the district hospital conduct health check-ups of afflicted individuals during ‘Janta Darshan’ at the district magistrate’s office. After this, the District Magistrate verifies their documents.

Eligibility is determined and within just seven days, Antyodaya ration cards, along with Ayushman cards for treatment, are issued. In many cases, the entire process is being completed within three to four days.

Due to this unique initiative by the DM, disappointed people suffering due to lack of treatment are now receiving Ayushman cards, bringing smiles to their faces. Some required cancer treatment, while others were suffering from kidney ailments or serious heart diseases.

After wandering from door to door for treatment, when the administration not only provided Ayushman cards but also ration cards, housing benefits and other government scheme support, the eyes of the afflicted filled with tears.

DM Ajay Kumar Dwivedi stated, “Many eligible families were deprived of schemes as their names were not included in the 2011 Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) list. Such families are now being immediately verified as per rules and Antyodaya ration cards are being issued. The main objective is to ensure that government schemes are not limited only to statistics but actually reach the needy. Keeping Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of delivering government benefits to the last person in society, this unique ‘Janta Darshan’ initiative has been started.”

In the past three months, 90 eligible individuals have been issued Antyodaya cards and 147 Ayushman cards. The presence of district hospital doctors during ‘Janta Darshan’ has made this initiative more effective.

On-the-spot health examinations ensure immediate access to treatment facilities. In many cases, Ayushman cards are made available on the same day, allowing the hospital admission process to begin immediately.

This farsighted thinking of the Yogi government and administrative alertness has proven to be nothing less than a boon for common people. This is why people coming to Janata Darshan no longer arrive in despair but with hope.

The initiative of Rampur District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi stands as a living example of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s poor welfare centred governance policy. The Yogi government’s objective is not merely to launch schemes but to ensure that no eligible person is deprived of treatment, food, or a dignified life. Under the leadership of DM Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, this resolve is being visibly realised in Rampur.
