He also interacted with the Founder and CEO of NeevCloud, Shri Narendra Sen, and gathered information about the company’s activities and future plans. Shri Sen informed the Chief Minister that Indore-based NeevCloud was established with the objective of making India technologically self-reliant. The company is developing indigenous AI and cloud infrastructure to ensure that the country’s data remains secure within India. Currently, more than 150 skilled professionals are working with NeevCloud and RackBank, contributing to the fields of engineering, AI, cloud computing, data centre operations and research.
Shri Sen further stated that the company is also working towards the development of an indigenous AI chip. The objective is to reduce foreign dependence, secure sensitive data within the country, and ensure India’s control over strategic technologies. So far, an investment of ₹700 crore has been secured, and a proposal has been made to invest ₹10,000 crore over the next five years in India for the development of AI infrastructure, data centres and semiconductor technologies. Through RackBank, energy-efficient and high-density AI data centres are being established, which will promote employment generation and skill development.
