Russian President Vladimir Putin Celebrated Women’s Day In Kremlin.

Kremlin; March 2026: Just 02 days ahead of the International Women’s Day on the 08th of March, Russian President Vladimir Putin has commenced the commemoration in the Kremlin City of Russia today early morning (IST).

Putin met female military personnel, healthcare staff, war correspondents, creative professionals, and specialists in other trades.

Yesterday – 05th March (local time) 200 Russian servicemen (AFU POW’s) were returned from the territory controlled by the Ukraine regime as a result of the exchange. All released servicemen will be taken to the Russian Federation for treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the Russian Defence Ministry. During the return of Russian servicemen from captivity, humanitarian mediation efforts were carried out by the United Arab Emirates and the USA.

At present, the Russian servicemen are on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, where they are provided with the necessary psychological and medical assistance.

Defence Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov congratulated the servicemen of the 1st Motorised Infantry Regiment on liberation of Yarovaya in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

“As a result of your professional and decisive actions, the enemy (Ukraine) has suffered significant losses and did not achieve the goals. As an example of resilience and tenacity in the battles against the neo-Nazi evil, servicemembers liberated Yarovaya (Donetsk People’s Republic). My congratulations on your success”, the Russian Defence Minister said in the telegram.

The Defence Minister stressed that acting in cooperation, the servicemen of the formation are making steady progress, gradually approaching the day of the general victory. “You have immortalised the memory of the regiment’s warriors, who forever put their names into history, sacrificing their lives in the struggle for our Fatherland”.

Andrei Belousov thanked the servicemen of the formation for successful performance of combat tasks and loyalty to the Military Oath and expressed confidence that the soldiers will continue to serve Russia with honour and ensure its security.

Russian Defence Ministry have published its report dated 05th March 2026, on the progress of special military operation; operational tactical aviation, attack drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces those which have inflicted damages on the energy and transport facilities used in the interests of the Ukrainian defence industry, sites for preparation and launch of long-range strike drones as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 152 areas.

The Sever Group of Forces improved the situation along the front line. Russian troops engaged a mechanised brigade, an airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a territorial defence brigade, and a detachment of the Ukrainian Border Guard Service near Grabovskoye, Khoten, Novaya Sech, Katerinovka, and Miropolye (Sumy region).

In Kharkov region, a mechanised brigade, a motorised infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and a territorial defence brigade have been hit near Staritsa, Volchanskiye Khutora, and Grafskoye of Kharkov region.

The AFU losses amounted to up to 225 troops, 03 armoured fighting vehicles, 20 motor vehicles, and 01 artillery gun. 01 electronic warfare station, 01 ammunition depot, and 08 material depots were neutralised.

As a result of resolute actions, the Zapad Group of Forces liberated Yarovaya (Donetsk People’s Republic).

03 mechanised brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 01 national guard brigade, and a border service detachment of Ukraine have been hit close to Lozovoye, Yatskovka, Rubtsy, Sosnovoye, Svyatogorsk, Krasny Liman (Donetsk People’s Republic), Novoyegorovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), and Druzhelyubovka (Kharkov region).

The enemy losses amounted to more than 180 troops, 03 armoured fighting vehicles, 17 motor vehicles, and 02 artillery guns including 01 U.S. made 155-mm M777 howitzer. 03 ammunition depots were neutralised.

The Yuzhnaya Group of Forces improved the tactical situation along the front line. 02 mechanised brigades and a mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit near Lipovka, Kaleniki, Slavyansk, Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Nikifovorovka, Krivaya Luka, Ray-Aleksandrovka, and Golubovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

The enemy lost up to 135 troops, 05 armoured fighting vehicles including 02 M113 armoured personnel carriers, 01 U.S.-made Stryker armoured personnel carrier, 13 motor vehicles, and 04 field artillery guns. 02 electronic warfare stations and 04 materiel depots were neutralised.

The Tsentr Group of Forces took more advantageous lines and positions. 03 mechanised brigades, 01 airmobile brigade, 01 jaeger brigade, 02 assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 01 marine brigade, and 02 national guard brigades have been hit close to Priyut, Grishino, Zolotoy Kolodez, Volnoye, Belitskoye (Donetsk People’s Republic), Novopavlovka, Ivanovka, and Novopodgornoye in Dnepropetrovsk region. The AFU losses amounted to more than 345 troops, 07 armoured fighting vehicles, 12 motor vehicles, 01 Czech-made Vampire MLRS, and 02 field artillery guns.

The Vostok Group of Forces continued advancing into the depth of enemy defence. Russian elements delivered damage to 01 mechanised brigade, 01 air assault brigade, 01 assault brigade, and 02 assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Velikomikhaylovka, Kolomiytsy, Novoskelevatoye, Pisantsy in Dnepropetrovsk region, Vozdvizhevka, and Boykovo (Zaporozhye region).

The Dnepr Group of Forces improved the tactical situation. Russian forces engaged a mechanised brigade and a mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Novoyakovlevka and Zaporozhets (Zaporozhye region). More than 50 troops, 16 motor vehicles, 01artillery gun, 03 electronic warfare stations, and 02 materiel depots have been neutralised.

Operational-tactical aviation, attack drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces have inflicted damage on energy and transport facilities used in the interests of the Ukrainian defence industry, sites for preparation and launch of long-range strike drones as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 152 areas.

Air defence systems shot down 08 guided aerial bombs, 03 HIMARS MLRS projectiles, and 410 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. Meanwhile, The Black Sea Fleet eliminated 04 uncrewed surface vehicles of the AFU in the north-western part of the Black Sea.Team Maverick.
