Bhoomi Pujan Performed by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for Reconstruction of Vita Bus Stand, Sangli

Sangli : Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the reconstruction of the Vita bus station. The project, with an estimated cost of around ₹13 crore, will see the construction of 18 towers. All buildings will be constructed using RCC (reinforced cement concrete) structures. The new complex will feature a restaurant, shops, a protective wall, a well-designed entrance, and a fully concreted area under the bus station.

The modernized bus stand will provide travelers with upgraded amenities, including sleeping facilities. Several dignitaries were present at the event, including Guardian Minister Dr. Suresh Khade, State Excise Minister Shambhuraj Desai, MP Dhairysheel Mane, MLA Shahaji Bapu Patil, District Magistrate Dr. Raja Dayanidhi, District Council Chief Executive Officer Trupti Dhodamise, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Shubham Gupta, Superintendent of Police Sandeep Ghuge, and former members Suhas Babar, Amol Babar, and Anandrao Pawar.
