UPSIDA to auction commercial plots in key districts, Bareilly, Jalaun, Barabanki, Prayagraj, Moradabad, and Trans Ganga City Unnao
Lucknow : The Yogi government, committed to boosting industrial and business activities in Uttar Pradesh, has launched a new initiative aimed at expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors. In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is set to roll out a mega e-auction of 43 industrial and commercial plots across the state.
This upcoming e-auction will facilitate the auctioning of commercial plots in regions such as Bareilly, Jalaun, Barabanki, Prayagraj, Moradabad, and Trans Ganga City in Unnao. The plots available through this process can be utilized for a wide range of business ventures, including warehousing, hotels, group housing, multiplexes, petrol pumps, and hospitals.
Additionally, UPSIDA will also introduce industrial plots through the mega e-auction in areas like Amethi, Amroha, Banda, and Hamirpur, further opening up avenues for industrial growth and economic development in the state. This initiative is part of the Yogi government’s broader strategy to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s industrial infrastructure and attract more investment.
The application process for the mega e-auction has started from Friday. The reserve prices for all the plots included in the auction are set, and interested applicants can bid large amounts to secure these plots. The deadline for paying the catalogue fees, processing fees, and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is October 17, while the last date to submit the application, after completing all procedures, is October 18.
The mega e-auction is scheduled to take place on October 25, during which the plots will be allotted. For more details, applicants can visit the official UPSIDA website. Additionally, information about registration and other procedures can be accessed by logging into the auction portal at https://eauction.etender.sbi/SBI/.
Under the ongoing process, commercial and industrial plots in various areas across 11 districts will soon be auctioned, with details as follows:
- Bareilly: A 16,800 sq. meter plot is available for warehouse development, with a reserve price of ₹4.51 crores. Another industrial plot measuring 18,929.12 sq. meters is priced at ₹9.71 crores.
- Jalaun: A 6,600 sq. meter plot in Orai is available for hotel construction, with a reserve price of ₹3.19 crores.
- Barabanki: Two plots under the Group Housing Scheme will be auctioned. Both are located at GH1 and GH2 Industrial Area, Kursi Road, each measuring 2,730.33 sq. meters with reserve prices of ₹2.28 crores each.
- Prayagraj: In Saraswati Hi-Tech City, two plots for hotels and one each for a multiplex and a hospital will be auctioned, ranging in size from 2,081.27 sq. meters to 8,486 sq. meters, with reserve prices between ₹8.75 crores to ₹17.84 crores. Additionally, industrial plots measuring 8,832 sq. meters and 11,598.3 sq. meters in Bhuragadh Industrial Area will be auctioned with reserve prices of ₹1.25 crores and ₹1.69 crores respectively.
- Moradabad: In the Special Economic Zone (SEZ), a 6,802.42 sq. meter plot is available for a petrol pump, with a reserve price of ₹7.44 crores.
- Amethi, Banda, Amroha, Hamirpur, and Mainpuri: Five plots in Kauhar Industrial Area, Amethi, ranging from 406.27 to 419.81 sq. meters, have reserve prices between ₹15.23 lakh to ₹15.74 lakh. Industrial plots are also available in Banda-Hamirpur, Mainpuri, and Amroha.
- Unnao: A total of 10 commercial and industrial plots are available, primarily located in Trans Ganga City, Unnao. These can be used for a variety of purposes, including schools, shopping centers, BPOs, clubs, women’s hostels, banquet halls, community centers, petrol/CNG stations, and hospitals. Plot sizes range from 2,504.82 sq. meters to 19,769.48 sq. meters, with reserve prices between ₹11.38 crores to ₹44.91 crores.
