Chief Minister Attends Zo Inspiration Foundation Beneficiary Meet.
Aizawl : Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma attended the inaugural beneficiary gathering organized by the Zo Inspiration Foundation at the Verdant Multipurpose Hall, Laipuitlanga.
During the event, the Chief Minister highlighted the impactful work done by the Zo Inspiration Foundation. Reflecting on the foundation’s mission after watching a video presentation, he expressed admiration for their efforts. “Your dedication to humanitarian work has strengthened our spirit,” he said, noting the positive impact made through formal support systems. He further emphasized the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, urging that contributions should not be limited to public initiatives but should extend support to individuals in need.
Pu Lalduhoma shared that true legacy lies in the help we offer during our lifetimes, rather than after passing. Drawing inspiration from the Bible, he quoted Israel’s King David, who once said, “While he still supported his people, he passed away.” According to the Chief Minister, helping the vulnerable is one of the noblest causes. He expressed that the foundation’s work exemplifies this ethos, urging everyone to continue their dedicated efforts.
Further, the Chief Minister encouraged other organizations to follow the Zo Inspiration Foundation’s model of support. CM RF has extended aid to individuals from communities of need. As the year has progressed, the foundation has provided critical resources in times of urgency. However, he emphasized the foundation’s mission is ongoing, and more support is necessary. “There will be roadblocks,” he said, “but you must press on with resilience.”
Major Jerry Lalrozama also addressed the gathering, while Dr. Zoramthanga, Chairman of the Zo Inspiration Foundation, expressed gratitude to the attendees. Tv. Vanlalhmachhuana, Assistant Secretary, presented a detailed report, and Founder Emmanuel Thangrosanga discussed the inception of the foundation and its key initiatives.
Established in March 2020, Zo Inspiration began as a YouTube channel founded by Emmanuel Thangrosanga to support those in need. The foundation was formally registered on June 7, 2020. Since June 22, 2020, following the tragic death of Lalhruaizela in the Samtlang Quarry, the foundation has provided support to families of victims and expanded its reach, offering aid to those in severe hardship.
To date, the foundation has helped 85 families and distributed over Rs. 300 lakh for various support initiatives. They have built 18 new homes, provided three shops to families in need, and currently sponsor the education of 26 students. Additionally, the foundation recently gained formal registration as a society on March 15, with a permanent office in Ramhlun Venglai and a dedicated team of staff members.
