Shri Dudheshwar Mahadev Temple Consecration: CM Sharma Highlights ‘Development & Heritage’ Vision

Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma stated that temples are the soul of Sanatan culture. Beyond being symbols of religious faith, they serve as significant centers of social and cultural consciousness. He emphasized that the state government is continuously working towards cultural and spiritual development.

Speaking at the idol consecration ceremony of Shri Dudheshwar Mahadev Temple in Narsana, Jalore, on Wednesday, Shri Sharma highlighted the role of temples in preserving Indian traditions, culture, and values. He congratulated the people of Rajasthan on this auspicious occasion, expressing hope that the blessings of Lord Mahadev would shower upon all and that the temple would emerge as an important pilgrimage site.

Sanatan Culture Revitalized Under Prime Minister’s Leadership

The Chief Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for infusing new energy into Sanatan culture. He praised the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Development and Heritage’, citing major initiatives such as the grand consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya after a 500-year wait, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, the Mahakal Corridor in Ujjain, the redevelopment of Somnath Temple, and the reconstruction of Kedarnath Valley.

State Government’s Ongoing Efforts for Cultural and Spiritual Growth

Shri Sharma emphasized that under the Prime Minister’s guidance, the state government is actively developing temples and religious sites across Rajasthan. He highlighted key initiatives such as:
Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme, enabling devotees to visit Ayodhya, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu, and other sacred destinations.
₹100 crore project for Khatu Shyam Temple and infrastructure development at Poonchari Ka Lautha.
Beautification and facility enhancement at over 600 temples, including special decorations and Aarti programs.
Brahma Temple Corridor in Pushkar, Ajmer, to enhance pilgrim experience.

Roadmap for Rajasthan’s Development

CM Sharma announced that the state government has formulated a roadmap for Rajasthan’s development.
Water security projects like the ERCP (Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project), Yamuna Water Agreement, and Dewas Project are being implemented to address water needs.
Energy sector self-sufficiency is being achieved through continuous MoUs for power projects.
Employment generation remains a priority, with a commitment to providing 4 lakh government jobs within five years. He assured that recruitment exams are now being conducted transparently, with strict action against paper leaks.
Welfare schemes for women, youth, laborers, and farmers are being actively implemented, with over 50% of the election manifesto promises already fulfilled.

Before the event, the Chief Minister offered prayers at Shri Dudheshwar Mahadev Temple, seeking prosperity and well-being for the state. The ceremony witnessed the presence of MP Shri Lumbaram Choudhary, local representatives, saints, and a large gathering of devotees.
