Exams for Various Posts in Women & Child Development Department on February 10, 13, and 17 Across 26 Districts

Mumbai – The Women and Child Development Department is conducting direct recruitment for various vacant posts. Online exams will be held on February 10, 13, and 17 across 26 districts at 45 centers. Deputy Commissioner Rahul More confirmed that necessary measures have been taken to ensure a transparent and smooth examination process.

A total of 236 vacancies will be filled, including:

• Group-B (Non-Gazetted) Protection Officer – 2 posts
• Group-C Probation Officer – 72 posts
• Group-C Senior & Junior Stenographer – 3 posts
• Group-C Senior Clerk/Statistical Assistant – 56 posts
• Group-C Junior Protection Officer – 57 posts
• Group-D Senior Caretaker – 4 posts
• Group-D Junior Caretaker – 36 posts
• Group-D Cook – 6 posts

The computer-based objective multiple-choice exam will be conducted by TCS. Candidates will be assigned exam centers within their district or nearby locations. Each center will have TCS-appointed supervisors and government-appointed inspectors to ensure security and fairness. Signal jammers, biometric verification, iris scanning, and facial recognition will be implemented. Additionally, CCTV cameras will be installed, and local police authorities have been instructed to provide security and traffic management.

Candidates are advised not to fall for fraudulent job offers or false promises of passing the exam through unfair means. Any suspicious activities should be reported to the nearest police station.
