KCR Celebrates Birthday with Erravalli Residents, BRS Leaders, and Supporters

Hyderabad: Former Chief Minister and BRS leader K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) celebrated his birthday in grand style on Monday at his residence in Erravalli. The event saw an overwhelming turnout, with hundreds of party workers, leaders, and supporters from across Telangana gathering to greet their leader. The entire Erravalli area was buzzing with excitement, filled with vehicles, as slogans of “KCR Zindabad” and “CM KCR” echoed throughout the air.

For over four hours, Chandrasekhar Rao personally interacted with his well-wishers, accepting flowers, shawls, books, and specially crafted artefacts. BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, along with former ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and MPs, also joined the celebrations to extend their best wishes. The occasion saw the villagers of Erravalli perform special pujas and organise a yagna, which was attended by both KCR and his wife, Shobha. An emotional moment followed during the wedding ceremony of Thigulla Krishna Murthy’s son in Gajwel, where KCR and Shobha exchanged garlands and rings, marking a memorable celebration of his birthday in the presence of guests.

A highlight of the day was the release of a book titled Vandela Munduchupu, edited by Juluru Gowrishankar. Addressing the gathering, KCR reflected on Telangana’s remarkable growth under his leadership. He proudly mentioned that his government laid strong foundations in key sectors such as water, wealth, and employment. Citing reports from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), he underscored the state’s rapid growth, emphasizing the transformation of Telangana into a model state. “The first Telangana government revived devastated villages, ensured irrigation in upland areas, cleaned ponds, and provided fresh water to every village,” KCR stated.

He credited his government with providing uninterrupted 24-hour power supply and highlighted the success of schemes like Raithu Bandhu, which he said has turned Telangana into the “granary of the nation.” KCR also reiterated his commitment to preserving the state’s Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb (a composite culture of the state). “Lies can never erase the glorious history of Telangana,” he asserted, vowing to continue the state’s development journey.

BRS workers marked the birthday with celebrations that included cutting cakes and engaging in social service activities. Leaders from various political parties also extended their greetings to KCR. Among those who conveyed their best wishes were Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and D. Sridhar Babu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Minister Nara Lokesh, YSR Congress President Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, and others. They wished KCR a long and healthy life dedicated to public service.

In addition to the political and party leaders, the common people of Telangana expressed their love for KCR in various unique ways. Bhaskar, a farmer from Kasama Thanda in Khammam, created a birthday message for KCR using freshly cut red chillies on a platform in his field. Many farmers participated in the Vrikshaarchana initiative led by former MP J. Santosh Kumar, planting saplings as a gesture of respect and love for KCR. Similarly, Hathavi, a Class 1 student from Jagadagirigutta, donated Rs 5,000 from her savings to a local government school to buy a water pump, showing her support for the Chief Minister.

KCR’s birthday celebrations not only highlighted his political influence but also demonstrated the affection and admiration he enjoys among the people of Telangana.
