Jhabua Collector Ms. Neha Meena Honoured with Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today presented the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024 to Collector of Jhabua, Ms. Neha Meena, during the Civil Services Day event held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The event was also attended by Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, along with senior administrative officials.
Jhabua district received this honour under the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) category for the commendable initiatives undertaken in Rama Block, including the ‘Moti Eye’ campaign, organization of over 3,000 health camps in tribal regions for sickle cell eradication, issuance of soil health cards to 100% farmers, providing over 26,000 household tap connections under the Har Ghar Jal Yojana, and achieving over 83.5% target completion in the PM Awas Yojana.
The award includes a trophy, a citation scroll, and a grant of ₹ 20 lakh as an incentive for further project implementation in the district.
