Martyr Ambadas Pawar’s Wife Kalpana Pawar Appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Police Appointment Order Presented by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai : Kalpana Pawar, wife of police constable Ambadas Pawar who was martyred in the 26/11 terrorist attacks on Mumbai in 2008, has been appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Police (under probation). Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presented her with the official appointment order for the post today.

While expressing her gratitude to the Chief Minister and the state government, Mrs. Pawar said, “Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has always stood for justice for the common people during his leadership. By issuing this direct appointment to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police to the wife of a martyr, he has demonstrated his compassion and respect for those who laid down their lives for the country. He is truly a beloved leader of the people, especially of the women of the state.”

Mrs. Pawar further stated, “Just like my husband, I have now been given the opportunity to serve the nation. This government belongs to the farmers, the hardworking people, the beloved sisters of the state, and the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. My appointment once again proves this commitment.”
