PM Modi Tops Global Popularity Chart with 75% Approval Rating

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again secured his place as the world’s most popular democratic leader, according to a July 2025 survey by U.S.-based business intelligence firm Morning Consult. The survey, conducted between July 4 and 10, covered over 20 countries and evaluated the approval ratings of their top elected leaders.

As per the report, PM Modi enjoys a staggering 75% approval rating, placing him firmly at the top of the list. Sharing the findings on social media, BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya highlighted India’s global leadership under Modi.

Following PM Modi, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung ranks second with 59% approval, while Argentine President Javier Milei stands third with 57%. Canadian leader Mark Carney received a 56% rating, and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese holds 54% approval.

In contrast, U.S. President Donald Trump, who returned to office earlier this year, has a 44% approval rating, while 50% of Americans disapprove of his performance. At the bottom of the list are French President Emmanuel Macron and Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, both with only 18% approval and a high 74% disapproval rate.

The consistent high approval ratings for PM Modi underscore his enduring popularity on the global stage and reflect strong domestic support for his leadership.
