Benefits of Schemes Must Reach Eligible Beneficiaries in a Timely and Transparent Manner: Social Justice & Empowerment Minister

— Shri Gehlot Reviews Progress of Budget Announcements and Flagship Schemes in Churu

Jaipur : Rajasthan’s Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment and Churu District In-Charge Minister, Shri Avinash Gehlot, chaired a meeting with officials at the Churu District Council office on Saturday. He reviewed the progress of state budget announcements, development projects, individual benefit schemes, and recent campaigns such as the Vande Ganga Water Conservation Jan Abhiyan and the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Camps, issuing directives to officials.

The meeting was attended by Churu MLA Shri Harlal Saharan, Tourism Commissioner and District In-Charge Secretary Smt. Rukmani Riyar, and District Collector Shri Abhishek Surana.

Shri Gehlot sought updates from officials on the latest status of department-wise schemes and instructed them to ensure that the state government’s welfare programs reach the grassroots. He emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state’s welfare initiatives have the potential to transform Rajasthan’s trajectory. Effective implementation of these schemes is only possible through the active involvement of officials, he added.

Remove Ineligible Persons Through ‘Give-Up’ Campaign

He appealed to ineligible individuals to voluntarily remove their names under the ‘Give-Up’ campaign, so that deserving beneficiaries can access food security benefits that they may have been previously denied.

Responding to a complaint from the FRT team, Shri Gehlot directed the JVVNL Superintending Engineer to initiate notice procedures against the concerned contractor and resolve the reported issues. He also instructed proper action on local grievances related to the PWD, Forest Department, PHED, and other departments.

The Minister held an extensive discussion and gave instructions to officials regarding a range of central and state government schemes, including:

  • Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan 2.0
  • Atal Gyan Kendra & Shikshit Rajasthan Abhiyan

  • Atal Pragati Path
  • PM Awas Yojana (Urban & Rural)
  • Mukhyamantri Swanidhi Yojana
  • PM Vishwakarma Yojana

He urged officials to maximize awareness and outreach of these schemes so that no eligible individual is left out.

MLA Shri Harlal Saharan highlighted regional issues and called on officials to ensure appropriate resolution.

Tourism Commissioner and District Secretary Smt. Rukmani Riyar emphasized the need for timely implementation of government schemes and said that field-level officials play a key role in ensuring benefits reach every eligible citizen. She called on officers to strengthen the concept of accountable governance through regular monitoring.

District Collector Shri Abhishek Surana directed all officials to ensure proper compliance with the guidelines issued during the meeting.
