Raipur, Aug 2025 – At his camp office in his native village Bagiya, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai celebrated Raksha Bandhan with women beneficiaries of various government schemes. Women from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, along with Anganwadi workers and helpers, Mitanins, and members of self-help groups tied rakhi to the Chief Minister’s wrist, expressing gratitude and wishing him a long life.
Extending heartfelt greetings to all on Raksha Bandhan, Shri Sai said the festival represents the unbreakable bond, affection, and respect between brothers and sisters. He reaffirmed that the state government is continuously working for the development of Chhattisgarh’s three crore citizens, adding that “Modi Ji’s guarantee means a guarantee of promises being fulfilled.”
Highlighting developmental projects in Jashpur, Shri Sai announced that the district has received approval for a medical college, nursing college, physiotherapy and horticulture colleges, a 200-bed hospital, and the establishment of the state’s fifth power plant at Harradand (Kunkuri) to improve electricity supply. He assured that no obstacle would be allowed to hinder Jashpur’s growth.
The event was attended by Shri Upendra Yadav, Shri Sunil Gupta, Sarguja Commissioner Shri Narendra Dugga, IG Shri Deepak Kumar Jha, District Panchayat CEO Shri Abhishek Kumar, public representatives, members of self-help groups, and a large number of beneficiary women.
