Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade to Hoist the Flag in Surajpur on the 79th Independence Day

Raipur, Aug 2025 : The 79th Independence Day will be celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh on August 15, 2025. The main ceremony will be held at the Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School Stadium in Surajpur, where Minister for Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, will hoist the national flag and take the salute of the parade.

Following the flag hoisting, Smt. Rajwade will read out the message of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai to the people of the state. The ceremony will also include honoring freedom fighters and family members of martyrs, as well as presenting commendation certificates to officers and employees who have performed outstanding work in the district.

As part of the program, school children will present patriotic songs, dances, and plays, delivering the message of national unity. The entire event will take place in an atmosphere of freedom, unity, and patriotism.
