Chief Minister interacted with Didi e-rickshaw driver Bhuneshwari Sahu and beneficiary Manoj Sahu

Raipur, Sept 2025 : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh Government is running several schemes for the welfare of workers and their families. Through these schemes, continuous financial assistance is being provided to uplift the social and economic condition of workers. In this context, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, during the Shramik Mahasammelan organized at the Indoor Stadium in Raipur, the Chief Minister interacted with Didi e-rickshaw driver Bhuneshwari Sahu and beneficiary Manoj Sahu.

When Chief Minister Shri Sai asked laborer Bhuneshwari about her livelihood, Bhuneshwari, a resident of Mowa, Raipur, shared that earlier she used to work as a head-load worker. During that time, she came to know about the Didi E-Rickshaw Assistance Scheme. Now, by driving an e-rickshaw, she is able to support her family and raise her children well. Bhuneshwari mentioned that her children’s education is also going well. She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai for this significant scheme of the government.

Similarly, Manoj Kumar Sahu from Chhuriya development block of Rajnandgaon district shared his experience while interacting with the Chief Minister. He said, “I have two daughters. My elder daughter, Bhumika Sahu, secured a place in the top 10 of Class 10. Under the Chief Minister Noni Babu Meritorious Education Assistance Scheme operated by the Labour Department, we received benefits including ₹1 lakh and an additional grant for a scooter. For this, I sincerely thank the head of the state, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, and Labour Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan.”
