Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan Donates One Year’s Salary to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund

Mumbai, Oct, 2025: Water Resources (Vidarbha, Tapi, Konkan Basin Development Corporation) and Disaster Management Minister Girish Mahajan has donated his entire year’s salary amounting to ₹31,18,286 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The cheque was handed over to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Heavy rainfall and floods across the state have caused extensive damage to agriculture and property. Financial aid is being provided to affected citizens through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. In this context, Minister Mahajan decided to contribute his entire annual salary to support relief efforts.

Minister Mahajan has donated his full salary for the period from December 2024 to November 2025, since assuming office as a minister.

As the Disaster Management Minister, he personally visited flood-affected areas in Jalna, Beed, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dharashiv, Solapur, Jalgaon, and Nashik districts, reviewed the damage, and assured affected farmers and citizens that the state government stands firmly with them.
