“Car That Builds vs Bulldozer That Destroys”: KTR Terms Jubilee Hills By-Election a Verdict on Congress’ Arrogance and Corruption

Hyderabad, Oct 2025 : Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday declared that the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election will serve as a decisive verdict against the Congress party’s arrogance, corruption, and deceit.

Addressing a meeting at Telangana Bhavan, where senior BJP leader Cherka Mahesh from Shaikpet joined the BRS, KTR said that voters in Jubilee Hills now face a historic choice — between the car that builds and the bulldozer that destroys.

“People must decide — do they want the car that represents progress, or the bulldozer that demolishes poor people’s homes?” he asked, referring to the actions of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA).

KTR launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of turning the Congress government into a “symbol of greed and destruction.” He alleged that the Congress has failed to deliver even a single election guarantee. “In the last two years, the Congress government hasn’t built a single house or laid a single brick. Yet, it has borrowed ₹2.3 lakh crore and is using the looted money to buy votes in Jubilee Hills,” he charged.

The BRS leader further claimed that the Congress is offering ₹10,000 per vote using funds obtained through corruption. He said that people are angry over unfulfilled promises such as pensions, housing, and fee reimbursement. “If Congress loses Jubilee Hills, it will finally learn a lesson. Only then will pensions of ₹4,000 and other welfare schemes reach the people,” he asserted.

KTR also took aim at the BJP, calling it a “party of no relevance in Telangana,” and urged voters not to waste their votes. “Voting for Congress or BJP is like throwing your vote into a drain,” he remarked.

On the issue of Backward Class (BC) reservations, KTR accused Revanth Reddy of deliberately misleading people. “He knows that reservation laws can only be passed in Parliament, not in the Assembly. Yet, he staged a drama to fool the public,” KTR said.

He also alleged that the Chief Minister betrayed former cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin by failing to honour an MLC promise and even deceived the Muslim community over burial ground issues. “Cheating has become Revanth Reddy’s nature. He himself once admitted that people believe those who cheat them — that’s the foundation of his politics,” KTR remarked.

Concluding his speech, KTR urged voters to make Jubilee Hills the starting point of Hyderabad’s revival. “This by-election is not just about one constituency — it’s about the future direction of Telangana,” he said.
