False Rain, Flood of Slogans: BJP’s ‘Artificial Rain’ Propaganda Exposed by AAP’s Viral Satirical Video

New Delhi, Oct 2025 : Once again, the people of Delhi find themselves bearing the brunt of the BJP government’s hollow promises. The much-hyped “artificial rain” project, proudly announced by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta with the claim that “we will defeat pollution through technology,” has turned out to be yet another empty slogan. Neither did clouds gather nor did a single drop fall—but BJP certainly showered the people with promises and propaganda.

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi has reached hazardous levels. Children are struggling to breathe in schools, the elderly are falling ill, and hospitals are witnessing a surge in cases of respiratory diseases. Yet, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s government remains busy with photo-ops and press conferences instead of taking real action.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday released a satirical video that exposes what it calls the BJP government’s “artificial rain hoax.” The video humorously depicts the entire project as nothing more than a political drama. Rekha Gupta is portrayed as the “Minister of Announcements,” who makes grand promises every day—but the results always remain zero.

Delhi AAP President Saurabh Bharadwaj said the video reflects the true voice of the people, unmasking the BJP’s false propaganda. “The BJP is more focused on cameras and publicity than on actual governance. They’ve given smoke to the people, not relief,” Bharadwaj said. He added that AAP would continue to expose every lie that endangers the health and future of Delhi’s citizens.

AAP leaders claimed that the BJP’s real talent lies not in administration, but in deception. “While Delhi’s air has turned poisonous, the Chief Minister is busy creating ‘rain of dreams’ in front of TV cameras,” one leader remarked. They further said that both the central government and the Delhi government led by Rekha Gupta share one thing in common—plenty of announcements but very few results.

The Aam Aadmi Party questioned what happened to the technology, budget, and expert team supposedly allocated for the artificial rain project. “Was it all just an eyewash meant to mislead Delhi’s citizens?” the party asked. “The people of Delhi no longer want artificial rain—they want real accountability.” AAP said citizens have the right to know why no concrete steps have been taken to tackle pollution and why Delhi’s very breath is sacrificed to politics every year.

AAP’s statement concluded by saying that BJP’s artificial rain plan has proved that “lies, too, can be a policy—one that works only if repeated endlessly in propaganda.” The people of Delhi, it said, have now realized that this government can neither make it rain from the sky nor provide relief on the ground.

With this bold and witty video, AAP and Saurabh Bharadwaj have not only exposed the BJP’s false claims but also struck a chord with the public. “Now, the people know the truth stands with AAP—and the lies remain with BJP,” the statement declared.
