State-Level ‘Yati Yatanlal Award’ Conferred on Bharatiya Kushth Nivarak Sangh, Katrenagar Sothi for Exemplary Work in Non-Violence and Cow Protection

Raipur, Nov 2025 : On the occasion of Chhattisgarh Foundation Day, the Bharatiya Kushth Nivarak Sangh located at Katrenagar Sothi in Janjgir–Champa district was honored with the “Yati Yatanlal Samman 2025” at the state-level felicitation ceremony held in Raipur. The organization received this award for its exemplary contribution in the fields of non-violence, cow protection, and humanitarian service.

The Bharatiya Kushth Nivarak Sangh has been engaged for years in selfless service for marginalized communities—particularly in the rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy—as well as in animal protection and environmental conservation. The services provided by the organization continue to serve as an inspiration for the entire state.

District Collector Shri Janmejay Mahobe congratulated the Ashram family on this proud achievement and said, “This award is not just for one institution, but for all those compassionate individuals who work for the welfare of society by walking the path of non-violence and empathy.” He added that this honor is a matter of pride for the district. Through its continuous efforts, the Bharatiya Kushth Nivarak Sangh has set new examples of human sensitivity, cow protection, and service in society.

This state-level recognition has once again brought pride to Janjgir–Champa district for its enduring tradition of service, compassion, and non-violence.
