Free Training for Youth Aspiring to Become Officers in the Indian Armed Forces
Mumbai, Nov 2025 : To assist candidates preparing for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview for officer posts in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, the Maharashtra Government has organised SSB Course No. 64 at the Pre-Cadet Training Centre, Nashik Road. The course will be held from December 15 to 24, 2025, and trainees will be provided free training, accommodation and meals.
Aspiring candidates from Mumbai City District have been requested to take advantage of this opportunity by appearing for an interview on December 10, 2025, at the District Sainik Welfare Office, Mumbai City. Candidates must download the admit card and annexures for the SSB-64 course from the Directorate of Sainik Welfare (DSW), Pune website, fill them completely, and bring them along.
Eligibility (Any one of the following is required):
- Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE–UPSC) or National Defence Academy Examination (NDA–UPSC) passed, and must have qualified for the SSB interview.
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate with Grade ‘A’ or ‘B’, along with a recommendation from the NCC Group Headquarters for SSB for the respective post.
For the Technical Graduate Course, candidates must have the SSB interview call letter. - For the University Entry Scheme (UES), the candidate must have an SSB call letter or must be listed in the recommendation list.
