Rajasthan Honors Two Sawai Madhopur BLOs for Outstanding Digitization Work
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) felicitated two Booth Level Officers (BLOs) from Sawai Madhopur — District Election Officer encouraged other staff for excellent work
Jaipur, Nov 2025 : As per the directives of the Election Commission of India, intensive revision (SIR) of the voter lists is underway across the district. During this campaign, two BLOs from Sawai Madhopur district, who excelled by being the first to digitize all voter enumeration forms of their respective booths, were honoured and encouraged with certificates of appreciation and awards by Chief Electoral Officer Shri Naveen Mahajan on Thursday.
In a meeting held via video conference, District Election Officer Shri Kana Ram felicitated BLOs Shri Rajmal Gurjar and Shri Jeetram Meena in the presence of the Chief Electoral Officer.
High-performing staff to be honoured at the state level — During the VC, CEO Naveen Mahajan interacted with Rajmal Gurjar (BLO, Part No. 10) and Jeetram Meena (BLO, Part No. 16), along with volunteer Kalyanmal Meena, and praised their efforts. He said that officials and personnel demonstrating effective performance in the SIR process in Sawai Madhopur and other districts would also be honoured at the state level.
During the video conference, Bamanwas Assembly constituency’s Electoral Registration Officer Priyanka Kandela and Malarna Dungar’s Assistant Electoral Registration Officer Sandeep Kumar Berad presented their best practices and experiences in handling the SIR process. They shared detailed insights on the challenges, solutions, and improved performance in form distribution and digitization.
District achieves excellent performance with 57.34% digitization of enumeration forms:
Under the Special Summary Revision Programme (SIR-2026), BLOs have so far digitized the forms of 6,04,556 voters out of 10,54,343 registered voters in the district — achieving approximately 57.34% progress. This includes:
- Gangapur City: 1,53,197 digitized forms
- Bamanwas: 1,60,051
- Sawai Madhopur: 1,53,737
- Khandar: 1,37,571
All these voter enumeration forms have now been recorded online (digitised).
