Minister Lakshmi Rajwade Inspects Paddy Procurement Centre in Shivprasad Nagar, Bhatgaon Assembly Constituency

Raipur, Dec 2025 : Women & Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade today inspected the paddy procurement centre located in Shivprasad Nagar village under the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency. She closely reviewed the procurement arrangements, facilities being provided to farmers, measuring equipment, weighing systems, and the overall paddy collection process.

During the inspection, Minister Rajwade interacted with the farmers present at the centre and enquired about their issues and requirements. The farmers informed her that the procurement process was running smoothly and that they were not facing any difficulties. She also sought feedback from them regarding the Minimum Support Price (MSP), speed of weighing, availability of gunny bags, and transportation arrangements.

Minister Rajwade said that the state government is committed to timely and transparent paddy procurement from farmers. Ensuring that farmers receive fair value for their hard work and produce is the government’s top priority. She further directed officials to regularly monitor the CCTV cameras installed at the centre and ensure immediate action in case of any irregularities.

A large number of local public representatives, farmers, and villagers were present during the inspection.
