Submit Suggestions for Improvements in ECINet App by January 10: Election Commission of India Appeals
New Delhi, Jan 2026 : The Election Commission of India (ECI) has urged all citizens to download the new integrated ECINet app and provide their valuable suggestions for its improvement by January 10. Users can submit their feedback through the ‘Submit a Suggestion’ option available within the app.
Through the experimental version of the ECINet app, voters will not only receive better services but also gain access to real-time voter turnout trends. Additionally, the app will allow the publication of index cards within just 72 hours after voting— a process that previously took several weeks or even months. The app was successfully tested during the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 and various by-elections.
Based on feedback from Chief Electoral Officers, District Election Officers, Electoral Registration Officers, Observers, and regional officials, several improvements have been incorporated into the app. Now, suggestions from citizens will also be reviewed to make the app more user-centric. The official launch of the ECINet app is planned by the end of this month.
This ambitious initiative has been undertaken under the leadership of **Chief Election Commissioner **Shri Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi. The app was announced on May 4, 2025, and has been under development since then.
ECINet is a comprehensive app that provides multiple election-related services in a single platform. It integrates a total of 40 separate applications and websites, including Voter Helpline App, cVIGIL, Saksham, Voter Turnout App, Know Your Candidate, and more. The app is available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
The ECI appeals to citizens to actively participate in refining the app, ensuring that it is efficient, user-friendly, and serves voters effectively across the country.
