Mumbai, September 2026 : Consuls General of various countries visited the official residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Varsha, and sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha in the presence of the Chief Minister.
Fadnavis welcomed all the Consuls General and performed the Ganesh puja along with them. During the occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the visiting diplomats. The meeting, held amid the festive and auspicious atmosphere of Ganeshotsav, featured cordial discussions on various issues.
The Consuls General also offered prayers to Lord Ganesha and experienced Maharashtra’s rich cultural traditions during the festival.

Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner Farhana Ahmed Chowdhury, UK Deputy High Commissioner Kamaljeet Kang and US Deputy Consul General Erin Yusen were also present. Finland’s Deputy Consul General Jonna Suni attended the occasion as well.
Chief State Protocol Officer Rajesh Gawande, Chief Minister’s Investment Adviser Kaustubh Dhavse, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Lokesh Chandra, Principal Secretary Shrikar Pardeshi and Amruta Fadnavis were among those present.
