Lucknow, Sept 2026 : The new edition and revamped format of Sahitya Parikrama, the magazine of the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, was unveiled on Saturday at Chetna Dental Sahitya Kendra in Sector N, Ashiyana.
Dr Sushil Chandra Trivedi, National President of the Parishad, said literature has always held an important place in society throughout different eras. From the period of the freedom movement to the present day, literature has played a role in shaping ideas and providing direction to society.
Professor Rajni Maan, Director and chief guest at the event, said that in view of the growing readership and increasing interest in the magazine, Sahitya Parikrama will now be published not only from Delhi but also in several states across the country and in several Indian languages.
Senior litterateur Prof. Surya Prasad Dixit said magazines are a powerful medium for the exchange of ideas. National General Secretary Dr Pawanputra Badal spoke about the importance of youth and the organisation.
The programme was also addressed by Vijay Tripathi, President of the Awadh Province unit of the Parishad; renowned dentist and litterateur Dr Sanjeev Awasthi; Dr Baljeet Srivastava; and Nirbhay Gupta.
The programme was conducted by Avinash Chandra Mishra.
Among those present on the occasion were RLD National General Secretary Anil Dubey, Shivshankar Awasthi, Dr Ritesh Dubey, Surendra Pandey, journalist Ramashankar Shukla, Anand Mishra and several other litterateurs.
