Additional Chief Secretary Abhay Kumar interacts with complainants through video calls after visiting Rajasthan Sampark Helpline
Jaipur, September 2026 : To further strengthen the dynamic, transparent and citizen-centric Rajasthan Sampark Helpline, the e-Jan Sunwai process has now been adopted. On Wednesday, Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department, Shri Abhay Kumar visited the Rajasthan Sampark Helpline (181) at the Government Secretariat to launch the initiative. He interacted with complainants through video calls, enquired about their problems and directed officials to take necessary action for their resolution.
Through e-Jan Sunwai, the Additional Chief Secretary heard and understood the problems of complainants Bhagchand Yadav and Mukesh Prajapat. He held video interactions with departmental officials and ensured resolution of their problems on the spot.
ACS Shri Abhay Kumar said that through video hearings, complainants can explain their problems more effectively while it can also be ascertained on the spot whether the concerned officer has properly understood the issue. He expressed hope that this initiative would bring significant improvement in problem resolution and the level of satisfaction.
Shri Kumar held a meeting with departmental officials and reviewed the average time taken for disposal of cases, pending cases, categories recording low satisfaction levels and complaints related to the Water Resources Department. He directed officials to ensure the prompt and quality resolution of every complainant’s problem. The Rajasthan Sampark Portal is also being made Artificial Intelligence-enabled to enhance its functionality and facilitate data analysis.
Appreciating the move to make the Sampark Portal Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled, the Additional Chief Secretary said that this would make the process of resolving public grievances more effective and convenient. He said that the use of AI-based technology would facilitate real-time monitoring and analysis of complaints received as well as action based on priority.
The Additional Chief Secretary directed that necessary corrective measures be taken for the disposal of cases received through the Sampark Portal and that departmental officials establish effective communication with complainants. During the meeting, he also assessed the current status of progress in the disposal of various complaints related to the Water Resources Department, Command Area Development and Water Utilization Department.
