District Collector Directs Wider Public Outreach Through Gram Utthan Camps

Jaipur, January 2026 : In compliance with the directions of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Gram Utthan Camps are being organised in every girdawar circle of Jaipur district. Through these camps, concrete efforts are being made to provide direct benefits of government public welfare schemes to the common people in rural areas. District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni is continuously monitoring the Gram Utthan Camps being organised in Jaipur district.

In this sequence, on Thursday a review meeting of Gram Utthan Camps was organised in the District Collectorate auditorium. While chairing the meeting, District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni gave clear instructions to the concerned departmental officers to ensure maximum participation of the general public in the camps and to provide immediate benefits of schemes to eligible persons.

The District Collector directed officers to ensure speedy disposal of applications received in the camps and to issue approvals to eligible beneficiaries on the spot, so that the general public does not have to make repeated visits to offices. He also instructed that officers of various departments should remain actively present in the camps and provide clear, simple and practical information about schemes to the public. He further directed special attention to publicity of the camps so that no eligible person is deprived of scheme benefits.

Through the Gram Utthan Camps, information on public welfare schemes of a total of 12 departments, including agriculture, animal husbandry, industry, energy, water resources, cooperation, panchayati raj and rural development, is being provided to the public, and approvals are being issued on the spot as per eligibility under various schemes.

Additional District Collector Shri Mukesh Kumar Moond said that Gram Utthan Camps are a flagship initiative of the state government, aimed at delivering schemes to the last person in rural areas. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the district administration is working with full commitment to take the benefits of government schemes to every village, and Gram Utthan Camps are proving to be an effective medium in this direction.

In the review meeting, Additional District Collector Shri Ashish Kumar and officers from agriculture, animal husbandry, industry, energy, water resources, cooperation, panchayati raj and rural development departments, along with other concerned departments, were present. During the meeting, department-wise review of the progress of camps was conducted and necessary directions were issued.

Camps to be organised on January 31:
Kalwara in Sanganer; Bilochi in Amer; Sevapura in Rampura Dabri; Devgaon Tehatda in Bassi; Shivdaspura and Thikaria Gujaran in Chaksu; Chittora in Madhorajpura; Singodkhud in Chomu; Manoharpur in Shahpura; Sinodia in Sambhar Lake; Bhanpura Kalan and Neemla in Jamwaramgarh; Baghawas in Kishangarh Renwal; Marwa in Dudu; Dhamana in Maujamabad; Chauru in Phagi; and Hingonia in Jobner—Gram Utthan Camps will be organised.

Camps to be organised on February 1:
Bagru in Sanganer; Jalsu in Rampura Dabri; Banskhoh in Bassi; Chhandel Kalan Dehlala in Chaksu; Samod and Nangal Bharada in Chomu; Khoraladkhani in Shahpura; Hirnoda in Sambhar Lake; Tala and Dhularaoji in Jamwaramgarh; Badhal in Kishangarh Renwal; Rahlana in Dudu; Boraj in Maujamabad; Municipal premises Phagi in Phagi; and Karansar in Jobner—Gram Utthan Camps will be organised.

Participation of departments related to agriculture, horticulture, agricultural marketing, animal husbandry, dairy, fisheries, cooperation, water resources, energy, industry, disaster management, rural development and panchayati raj is being ensured in the camps. Through the camps, information on various public welfare schemes will be provided to farmers, livestock owners and villagers, and approvals will be issued on the spot to eligible beneficiaries.

By the Agriculture and Horticulture Department, approvals are being given for fencing, diggi (water tanks), pipelines, farm ponds, sprinklers and drip systems, plastic mulch, solar pump plants; an incentive amount of ₹30,000 for farming with bullocks; information on crop insurance and MSP; demonstration of modern agricultural implements; distribution of soil health cards; preparation of applications for solar pumps and polyhouses; and verification for seed and mini-kit distribution.

By the Agriculture Marketing Department, PMFME applications are being prepared, applications under the Chief Minister Krishak Sathi Assistance Scheme are being disposed of, and proposals are being prepared for construction of farmer rest houses. By the Cooperation Department, DBT of Chief Minister Kisan Nidhi, Kisan Credit Card applications, NCOL and NCEL membership, construction of new warehouses, cooperative bank accounts, loans for self-help groups, 5 per cent interest subsidy scheme and works related to Custom Hiring Centres are being carried out.

By the Animal Husbandry Department, registration under the Chief Minister Mangla Pashu Bima Scheme, animal health check-ups, vaccination, artificial insemination, distribution of animal feed and mineral mixture, and information on gaushala development schemes are being provided.

By the Dairy (RCDF) Department, PDCS/DCS registration, new membership, allotment of Saras booths and marts, and works related to cooperative loans will be carried out. By the Fisheries Department, publicity of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana and information on fish farming in farm ponds are being provided.

By the Rural Development Department, housewarming and key handover under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), VB-Gram-J campaign and completion of survey work under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Scheme are being carried out. By the Disaster Management Department, DBT of the remaining SDRF grant amount; by the Industry Department, applications for youth self-employment schemes; and by the Water Resources Department, activation of WUAs, Vande Ganga conservation campaign, and identification of canal repair requirements will be undertaken. Registrations under the PM Surya Ghar Scheme are being done by the Energy Department.
