“The Budget 2026–27 presented by the Finance Minister provides a strong and practical foundation to the resolve of a Viksit Bharat. This is a historic, paperless and high-tech budget, which not only strengthens basic sectors such as healthcare and education but also makes provisions for record capital expenditure on roads, railways and digital infrastructure.

With a special focus on the youth, the Budget has taken concrete steps to promote skill development, employment-oriented schemes, and the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and innovation. These initiatives will further empower India in global competition.

While maintaining fiscal discipline, this Budget moves decisively in the direction of inclusive and people-centric development. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it translates the vision of a Developed India into action. I welcome this forward-looking and visionary Budget.”
