Chief Minister Flags Off AU Marathon; Youth Urged to Become Active Partners in Realising the Prime Minister’s Fit India Movement – CM Bhajanlal Sharma
Jaipur, February 2026 : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that waking up early in the morning and engaging in running and physical exercise keeps the body healthy and fills it with positive energy throughout the day. He stated that a healthy lifestyle is a powerful means to translate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Fit India Movement into action. The Chief Minister appealed to the youth to make exercise a part of their daily routine and contribute to the development of the nation and the state.
Shri Sharma was addressing participants at the AU Jaipur Marathon held in Jaipur on Sunday. He said that youth are an important pillar for the country’s bright future and that young people across the nation and the state are setting new benchmarks in every field. He added that by carrying forward the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, the Prime Minister is illuminating India’s name across the world.
The Chief Minister said that over the past two years, the state government has created wide-ranging opportunities for youth in areas such as sports, employment, and skill development. As a result, young people are not only gaining employment but are also becoming job providers. He emphasized that the government is working with full commitment to fulfil every dream of the youth.
During the event, Shri Sharma flagged off the marathon from Ramniwas Bagh. He also honoured the winning participants with medals and certificates and encouraged all runners.
On the occasion, Mehndipur Balaji Mahant Shri Nareshpuri Maharaj, Pt. Suresh Mishra, actor Shri Milind Soman, architect Shri Anoop Bartaria, along with other dignitaries and a large number of participants, were present.
