Cabinet Minister Kumawat Listens to Union Budget 2026–27 with the Public; Budget Reflects the Strength of India’s Women Power

Jaipur, February 2026 : Animal Husbandry Minister Shri Joraram Kumawat was on a visit to Rajsamand district on Sunday. During the visit, he listened live to the Union Budget 2026–27 along with local office-bearers, party workers, and members of the public at the office of Rajsamand MLA Ms. Dipti Maheshwari, located near the Municipal Council.

Minister Shri Joraram Kumawat said that the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman under the leadership of the esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is historic and visionary in every sense. He said the budget is not only a powerful reflection of India’s women-led strength but also marks a new milestone, as Smt. Sitharaman has presented the Union Budget for the ninth consecutive time as a woman Finance Minister.

He said the budget opens pathways to immense possibilities. While fulfilling present aspirations, it lays a strong foundation for a bright and prosperous future for India. Towards realizing the resolve of Viksit Bharat–2047, this budget will serve as a solid base for the nation’s ambitious progress.

Shri Kumawat stated that the “Reform Express” on which India is currently riding will gain renewed energy and momentum through this budget. The path-breaking reforms announced provide open skies of opportunity for the country’s ambitious, courageous, and talented youth. He added that the budget reflects the vision of trust-based governance and a human-centric economy. On one hand, it focuses on controlling fiscal deficit and curbing inflation, while on the other, it establishes a balance between high capital expenditure and high growth.

He further said that the budget strengthens India’s global role with renewed confidence. India’s 140 crore citizens are not content with being the world’s fastest-growing economy alone; the shared national goal is to soon become the world’s third-largest economy. Today, India is emerging strongly on the global stage as a “trusted democratic partner” and a “trusted quality supplier.”

Shri Kumawat said that significant steps have been taken in the budget to ensure that the benefits of major trade agreements signed in recent years reach the youth and micro, small, and medium enterprises. An ambitious roadmap has been laid out to accelerate the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.

He added that the unprecedented support extended to emerging sunrise sectors in this budget is noteworthy. Provisions such as the Bio-Pharma Shakti Mission, Semiconductor Mission 2.0, Electronic Component Manufacturing Scheme, creation of a Rare Earth Corridor, emphasis on critical minerals, new schemes for the textile sector, promotion of high-tech tool manufacturing, and the development of champion MSMEs have been designed keeping future requirements in mind.

The minister concluded by saying that the strong support provided to MSMEs and small and cottage industries in this budget will empower them to move from local to global markets and further strengthen India’s economic resilience.
