CM Bhupendra Patel lays the foundation stone for Phase One of Bahucharaji Mataji Temple Reconstruction
Gandhinagar : Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel laid the foundation stone for the first phase of the Bahucharaji Mataji Temple reconstruction at the renowned Bahucharaji pilgrimage site in Mehsana district. The ceremony, conducted with traditional rituals, was followed by the Chief Minister offering his prayers at the temple. He conveyed a sense of fulfillment and prayed for the well-being of the people.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel was presented with the complete blueprint for the temple’s reconstruction from the Tourism Department and the Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board. Chief Minister carefully reviewed the comprehensive plan for all three phases and inspected the temple premises. Devotees and locals warmly welcomed the Chief Minister upon his arrival at the temple. Industry Minister Shri Balvantsinh Rajput also participated in the ceremony alongside the Chief Minister.
The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitin Patel, former Minister Shri Rajni Patel, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Mayank Nayak, Lok Sabha MP Shri Haribhai Patel, MLA Shri Sukhaji Thakor, Shri Girish Rajgor, Smt. Varsha Doshi, Shri Yagnesh Dave, Tourism Department Secretary Shri Rajendra Kumar, Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board Secretary Smt. S. Chakchuaak, and Acting District Collector Dr. Hasrat Jaismin. In the first phase of the Bahucharaji Mataji Temple reconstruction, the project will be undertaken at a cost of ₹76.51 crore. This phase will include raising the height of the Shikhar to 86 feet 1 inch.
