No Affected Person Should Be Deprived of Help – Guardian Minister Abdul Sattar
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, September 3 (Jimaka) – Over the past two days of heavy rainfall in the district, significant damage has occurred, affecting villages along rivers and canals, agricultural crops, roads, and bridges. Guardian Minister Abdul Sattar, who also serves as the Minority Development, Auqaf, and Marketing Minister, has directed the district administration to promptly complete the Panchnama with proper coordination, ensuring that no affected person is deprived of assistance.
Today, Guardian Minister Abdul Sattar inspected the damage caused by the heavy rains in Sillod and Kannada taluks. He visited the affected areas in Bharadi, Borgaon Bazar, and Borgaon Saravani in Sillod taluka, as well as Nachanvel, Pishore, Ramnagar, Sakharvel, Vasdi, Mahegaon Hasta, and Palashi Khurd Shivara in Kannada taluka, interacting with the affected residents.
The damage has exceeded standard levels, with both urban and rural areas along rivers and canals suffering extensively. Agricultural crops, cattle, livestock, and milch animals have been washed away. Several villages have been cut off due to the destruction of roads and bridges by floodwaters. Therefore, Guardian Minister Sattar has instructed the administration to restore the affected infrastructure immediately.
