In-service Training on New Criminal Laws: BNS, BNSS & BSA Concludes
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) successfully conducted an ‘In-service Training on New Criminal Laws – BNS, BNSS & BSA’. The training program was inaugurated today by Secretary of the Vigilance Department, Pi Betsy Zothanpari Sailo. Held at the ACB Conference Hall, MINECO, the two-day training session was attended by approximately 45 participants, including officers and staff from the Vigilance Department and the ACB, led by ACB Director, Pu Rodingliana Chawngthu.
In her opening remarks, Vigilance Department Secretary Pi Betsy Zothanpari emphasized the increasing prevalence of white-collar crime globally. She highlighted the growing need for constant vigilance and adaptability within the Vigilance Department and the ACB. She further stressed the importance of organizing such trainings regularly to equip officers with new skills and techniques, ensuring they remain effective in combating corruption and safeguarding the nation.
The resource persons for the training included Pi Julie Lalrinzami, MJS, Additional District & Sessions Judge, Aizawl District; Pi Jessica Lallawmzuali, MPS, Deputy SP (Headquarters), Aizawl DEF; Pu C. Lalrinchhunga, Additional Public Prosecutor, Mizoram Lokayukta; Pu Zoramsanga Sailo, Inspector and OC, Bawngkawn Police Station; and Pi Lalsangpuii, Inspector and OC, All Women Police Station, Aizawl.
