Chhattisgarh receives Rs 6070 crore as tax transfer
The Government of India has sanctioned Rs 6070 crore to Chhattisgarh under tax transfer. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman for this.
Chief Minister Shri Sai thanked the Central Government and said that this is a unique gift from the Government of India to the people of the state on the occasion of festivals. This amount will help in strengthening the financial resources of the state, which will prove helpful in completing the development projects quickly. This will also accelerate the works of public welfare. Shri Sai said that our double engine government is continuously paving the way for progress in Chhattisgarh.
