CM Yogi: “Do you consider Allama Iqbal, who displays a double standard, as your role model?”

Lucknow : CM Yogi criticized the opposition for quoting Allama Iqbal’s poem, stating that the opposition leaders were merely reciting a poem because they could not face the truth and chose to walk away. “They align themselves with a person of double character, who writes one thing and later changes his stance,” CM Yogi remarked.

He continued by quoting Iqbal:

“Muslim Hai Hum, Vatan Hai Sara Jahan Humara
China-o-Arab Humara, Hindustan Humara”

CM Yogi then questioned, “Do you consider Iqbal your role model?” He added, “He claims to be a teacher, but if such individuals are the ones educating students, they will only lead them to misfortune. You cannot hide the truth by reciting Iqbal’s poem and trying to sweep it under the rug.”
